Dr. Sean Rast
Secora Founder and CEO
Sean founder Secora in 2001 and has since been involved in building and expanding the consultancy world-wide.
He holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of San Diego, and MBA from the University of Ohio, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Fayetteville State.
He is a certified Professional Engineer (OSU) and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (DMAIC and DFSS).
• Sean’s engagements range from Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Automotive, Government, Metallurgical manufacturing, and mining. He is also fluent in three languages.
Dwayne Coffey
Managing Partner, Secora North America
Dwayne graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Mathematics. He served as an US Army Infantry Officer and deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Joint Guardian.
He is a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt (both DMAIC & DFSS), PMP, and Change Management Professional.
Dwayne’s engagements span across several industries to include manufacturing, health care, government, education, and transactional. As an instructor, he has trained over 800 personnel, from C-Suite Executives to operational level leaders, in process management and continuous improvement.
Jim Wardell
Principal Consultant, Education
Jim has over thirty years of experience in education, where he has served at all levels including classroom teacher, school principal, assistant superintendent, and college administrator.
He holds a Master's Degree in school administration from Virginia Tech, with additional advanced graduate studies in Leadership and Policy that include business management, law, organizational behavior, organizational change, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, advanced statistical analysis and modeling, and conflict resolution.
He is currently the Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Virginia's College at Wise where he develops online and traditional workshops and courses for preK-12 educators.
